Turbomachinery design

Turbomachinery design is a challenging multi-disciplinary domain with very little expertise all over the world. We provide design for radial and axial machines as per your specification with detailed parametric studies and validation cases. We perform design improvement trials for your baseline configuration, covering all major aspects like aerodynamic performance, structural integrity and dynamic behaviour of the component. Turbo Labs will provide efficient and superior design against your baseline model, thereby reducing the cost and time for your product development.

Turbomachinery analysis

We offer quick and reliable performance results for your turbomachinery components based on our computational results. Simulations are performed for a wide range of applications like pumps, cooling fans, turbochargers, blowers, compressors, fans, gas turbines, wind turbines, etc. Based on aerodynamic simulations, we evaluate performance of turbo components from parameters like mass flow rate, pressure ratio, expansion ratio and efficiency. In addition to aerodynamic analysis, we also perform fluid structure interaction, modal analysis, conjugate heat transfer analysis, etc for your turbo components. We have significant expertise for evaluating unsteady aeroelastic problems like flutter and forced response studies.

Heat transfer analysis

Heat transfer is a discipline of thermal engineering that concerns the generation, use, conversion, and exchange of thermal energy (heat) between physical systems. We have significant experience in heat transfer simulation for heat exchangers and transformer thermal radiators. Heat transfer simulation for cooling fins are quite challenging, in terms of mesh generation and modelling. For most of our simulations, we have strong capability to generate hexahedral mesh for simulation, thereby we perform accurate analysis with reasonable computational efforts.

Heat Ventilation Air Conditioning (HVAC)

The HVAC systems design for modern buildings in civil engineering, simultaneously satisfying the requirements of comfort and optimal working conditions, and also optimizing the energy consumption, has become increasingly difficult. The ever increasing height and complicated architectural shapes, along with the more and more stringent specifications for energetic efficiency and also the continuously shorter concept-to-real building timeframe demands, have led the engineers towards the virtual environment simulation methods. Turbo labs offer HVAC analysis and environmental simulations for this kind of applications.
