Objective: Assessment of structural load on a movable car parking ramp
Challenges: To model and mesh a car parking ramp and apply appropriate boundary conditions as per loads from a four wheeler.
Details: A conceptual model was developed for movable car parking ramp and the same was studied in detail. Model was generated in CAD software and simulation was carried out for baseline case. Loads were assessed and applied as per a typical four wheeler and structural integrity of the platform was evaluated. Study was carried out for two different materials and stress results were evaluated.
